WHAT’S GOOD EVERYONE!
Just ran a solid 6.5 miles in and caught the sunrise across the Williamsburg bridge.
I’ve found the perfect working playlist titled, “fy_resort | Intelligent DnB / Jungle Mix” and I’m ready to head into Manhattan to continue my research on the best place to co-work.
I want to know where you work— in office, remote, hybrid? and where is the best place to co-work. Fill out my survey here. You have till the end of the day.

Dating Across the Political Aisle
The U.S. presidential election is just 28 days away, and voter registration is already closing in many battleground states.
Kamala Harris just appeared on Alex Cooper’s tremendously popular podcast, ‘Call Her Daddy’ while Donald Trump has been spending his time with everyone from Dave Ramsey, Lex Friedman, Theo Von, and the Nelk Boys.
The two candidates drastically different media blitzes are indicative of the growing political divide between the two sexes—
Generally speaking, younger Gen Z’s are signaling they are more conservative than older age cohorts—
and there is a growing divide— Gen Z women are overwhelmingly backing Kamala Harris while the majority of Gen Z men are backing Trump.
While I’m not here to get to the bottom of what’s caused this rightward shift for Gen Z men, I am curious about how these politically divisive times are affection relationships. The New York Times is also curious.
I’m specifically curious how you think of dating across the political aisle.
There is a growing trend of TikTok’s (mostly from women) proclaiming that other women won’t find relationship or financial security by dating a liberal man, and the best find’s on the dating market are going to be conservative. “Conservative men take care of their looks and make a lot of money”
Enable 3rd party cookies or use another browser
and there is even a dedicated dating app just for finding conservatives called Date Right Stuff.
So once again I’ve built a survey.
🚨 POLL ⬇️
Let me know if you would or have dated across the political divide and what the implications were for your relationship.
I’m following up on this story with your responses later this week.
If you don’t have time for the whole survey just answer this poll—
*Also shout out to for offering to help with future polls, I am going to be using her help soon but this was a spur of the moment idea.
Teen Boys Have a Skincare Obsession + My Skincare Routine
The Cut wrote a great article covering the growing obsession teen boys have with skincare routines.
When I first clicked on the article, I presumed these boys were simply using the grapefruit Neutrogena facewash or some Cerave you can pick up at any big box retailer.
But I was wrong—
In one video, a high-schooler with floppy curls douses his face in cleansing oil, snail mucin, and a pearlescent solution that elicits a few adolescent-tinged comment-section jeers. (It was Beauty of Joseon Rice Toner, but they called it “Diddy juice.”) In another, a shirtless teen with a center part spoke into a tiny mic clipped to his neck chain: “Don’t be scared of skin-care routines, bro, they’re good for you!” Behind him flashed images of recommended products, including CeraVe’s foaming cleanser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios, and distilled cow fat, or beef tallow. (It has 1.9 million views.)
These young men are using BEEF TALLOW ON THEIR FACE???
They are far more advanced than I was at that age.
But largely, we are seeing more and more content catering to a growing obsession with vanity amongst young men.
Whether it be this skincare obsession, or their love of expensive cologne’s from luxury brands, the ‘Looks-maxxing’ era is in full swing.
While the male skincare market is incredibly small compared to the women’s market, all signs point to this being a growing category.
70 percent of Gen Z men, aged 18 to 27, used skin-care products — and so do about half of all American men.
And brands like Dr. Squatch (who just hired Sydney Sweeney are their spokeswoman) Rile, and Insanely Clean are catering to this growing market.
Ultimately, these young men are coming of age and want to make themselves as attractive as possible, but it is perhaps the most turbulent time in someone’s skin health.
and I’m here to say if you’re a guy you don’t need tons of fussy products.
I’ve been into skincare for awhile now, and I’m a proud listener of
’s podcast Eye Witness Beauty and the Dewy Dude’s.While I’ve tried a ton of products throughout the years… my routine has simplified substantially. The less the better for me.
