Sugarfish: Had to get some tuna and yellowfish delivered to the house.
Bustan: Fire hummus and baklava on the Upper West Side.
Ceremonia: Chorizo breakfast burrito post-run is *chefs kiss*
Then last night I cooked steak.

Megaflopolis
Francis Ford Coppola’s 40-years-in-the-making epic, Megalopolis, is on track to lose hundreds of millions of dollars.
The film, largely self-financed by Coppola (he got really rich from making wine), cost $120M to produce to $20M to market.
Box office receipts total a meager $4M, and it played across 2,000 screens nationwide.
Reviews have been all over the place, with some hailing the avant-garde picture as a seminal work from one of film’s most legendary auteurs, while others are clowning Adam Driver’s absurd line deliveries.

I haven’t seen the movie yet, but I will try to soon. I love Coppola and I love big risks.
Mark Zuckerberg’s Big Hardware Bet
Speaking of big bets, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg made a huge one on the metaverse in the middle of the pandemic.
While that bet didn’t exactly payoff, he did manage to right the ship, laying off employees, cutting costs, using AI to combat Apple’s ad tracking changes, and sending the stock soaring back to record-highs.
He also increased his personal net worth 6x to nearly $210B.
