Celine is Launching a Pilates Collection. Modeled by Kaia Gerber and shot by the Hedi Slimane, Celine is creating a new pilates inspired collection at the intersection of fitness, fashion, and wealth. The dedicated line features a reformer, kettlebell, weights, and athletic wear adorned with Celine branding.
I love when luxury fashion houses interpret their house codes for a new medium. This reminds me of the Chrome Hearts weight bench. As wellness and fitness continue to be top of mind, more brands are stepping up to create luxury products for truly locked in consumers who want to signal both how fit they are and how rich they are.
Chiropractor Videos Are All the Rage on TikTok. Whether it be the ASMR vibes or the shocking transformations undergo, people are obsessed with watching videos of chiropractors snapping and contorting their patients. This viral trend is creating massive marketing potential for chiropractors, who are flocking to short form video platforms to show off their services.

Enable 3rd party cookies or use another browserPersonally, this is a trend I could never get into, watching these videos honestly kind of scares me. Someone anecdotally told me once that many people die from getting snapped. The data suggests otherwise, only 26 people died between the 1970s and 2006. I do have an idea for brands who want to leverage this genres popularity: create a compelling smash cut video with chiropractor footage. Essentially, hook the viewer and build momentum leading up the snap viewers are all waiting for, then smash cut to your brand’s product. Someone try this and let me know how it does. I can’t believe this newsletter is free.
Zyn Stopped Selling DTC Online. The insanely popular nicotine pouch’s parent company, Phillip Morris, halted sales on their website following an inquiry into whether or not the company may have illegally sold their pouches in Washington D.C. which has a ban on flavored nicotine products. But this halt was extremely beneficial to Zyn’s competitor: Lucy, which announced they had their best website sales day ever. They should use this as a case study in Economics 101.
What Are Millennial Socks? There is a great war brewing between Millennials and Gen Z, and the generational divide is now encompassing our choice of socks. Here’s the breakdown: shorter, ankle socks are predominantly worn by Millennials, whereas Gen Z prefers to rock longer, crew cut socks.
Now that its short season, we can all evidently see which side of the battle you are all on. Millennials claim that when they grew up, longer socks were embarrassing, and this is a perfect example of a younger generation repurposing what was once considered ‘uncool’ Even Vogue is reporting on Jennifer Lawrence wearing ‘millennial socks’
If you ask me, crew socks are the move when wearing sneakers. Why are we trying to hide the fact we are wearing socks? And with loafers, you have to go raw, no socks allowed if you’re a guy. And I echo a similar sentiment as Chris Black: no show socks are a crime.
Lemaire showed off an excellent new collection at Paris Fashion Week. I love Lemaire’s signature muted color palette, and this season they showed off another collection of timelessly chic, versatile looks. Enjoy.
Okay gotta run, hope you all have a great Thursday! :) Jump in the comments and let’s talk.
