Double Check Those Final Deliverables
The new Wicked movie drops in theaters soon, and like most tentpole children’s films their is a line of branded toys and action figures hitting store shelves.
The only issue is that the packaging designer put the wrong URL on the box…
Instead of going to the film’s official website (wickedmovie.com) they left out the movie part and it goes to a porn website.
And now Mattel, the brand behind the toys is on the defense…
Mattel was made aware of a misprint on the packaging of the Mattel ‘Wicked’ collection dolls, primarily sold in the U.S., which intended to direct consumers to the official WickedMovie.com landing page. We deeply regret this unfortunate error and are taking immediate action to remedy this. Parents are advised that the misprinted, incorrect website is not appropriate for children. Consumers who already have the product are advised to discard the product packaging or obscure the link and may contact Mattel Customer Service for further information.
Anyone who has done packaging design knows that you’re bound to have countless revisions, I suggest you come up with a good file naming system and double check those final deliverables.
Its hard to work in this world again when you’re reputation is the designer who put a porn website link on a children’s toy LOL
Fragrance-Tok Is Cancelling this Creator
I don’t know about you guys but my TikTok FYP serves a ton of videos about fragrances.
One of the most prominent creators on Fragrance-Tok is Scout Dixon West, whose risen to fame with her incredibly detailed scent breakdowns, eclectic home decor, and Americana adjacent style.
She even debuted her own collection recently which sold out.
West also critiqued lockdown policies during the pandemic, allegedly saying:
“Can everyone who’s gonna die from covid just die already so I can go to the movie theatre? Let’s get this show on the road.”
Viewers are growing increasingly upset and alienated, leaving only two options for West—

Vogue Gets a Guest Editor
Marc Jacobs was tapped to be the first ever guest editor for Vogue.
Retelling the moment Anna Wintour asked him over a Balthazar lunch, Jacobs said to himself—
You can’t do this, what do you know about putting together a magazine?
But they pretty much let anyone who looks cool and eats lunch at Keith McNally owned properties edit a magazine these days so Jacobs was more than qualified.
He tapped Kaia Gerber to be the cover star, producing some cool covers for the December issue
Emma Chamberlain Doesn’t Need to Post
After amassing millions of fans for her honest and lo-fi YouTube videos, Emma Chamberlain has grown to be more than just another internet creator.
In a new profile with The New York Times, Chamberlain discusses her lack of consistent content— as she focuses more on running her fledgling business empire.
Just this year ascended to become co-CEO of her coffee brand, Chamberlain Coffee, hosted the Met Gala again, and is launching her second collection with Warby Parker.
Chamberlain Coffee is on track to hit $20M in revenue this year, fueled by strategic collaborations and distribution in big-box retailers.
We love to see a star successfully pivot into being a great business owner, and I’m sure we’ll see Chamberlain hit billionaire status in the next decade.

Omg, that Wicked packaging. I feel for them.....But still, they had ONE job!
Oh no. Mattel. Mistakes certainly happen — and often — but yikes
