GM everyone hope you’re having a lovely Tuesday morning. Last night I had a classic ‘NYC Happy Meal’ aka a burger, fries, and two martinis at American Bar followed by a cigarette on the way to the train. Amazing vibes.

There has been an overwhelming amount of news to start the week, from Bottega Veneta news, Stussy, NY Mag, and more. Let’s get into it—

A$AP Rocky Bottega Veneta Campaign

Earlier this fall, the fa$hion killa himself was spotted wearing head to toe Bottega Veneta around LA. These moments were all captured by paparazzi, as they do. While I believed earlier this was the beginning of a new brand ambassadorship, it turns out the paparazzi photos are being used as part of the official campaign. I think this is really smart and clever, and less work! This follows the ongoing trend of paparazzi-style photoshoots, but this is the most literal take yet. As a big BV fan, I love.

SSENSE Interviews Willem Dafoe

The press rollout for orgos Lanthimos’s Poor Things continues after Emma Stone covered W Mag last week. Now her co-star Willem Dafoe has a new feature for SSENSE’s editorial division. The photography by Tom Kneller captures Dafoe’s haunting presence very well, and I do like the styling by Thom Bettridge. However, I am wondering if we have hit peak Dafoe. Time to take a break from using him in fashion editorials. I do love his ICYKOF drip check though.

New Stussy x Nike Campaign

I am obsessed with the new video for the Stussy x Nike collab. The skaters battling against the jet engine, adorned with the ‘Air Stussy’ logo is so clever. This has to be their best visual of the year. Unfortunately, don’t love the shoes, or really anything Nike has done this year tbh.

Oxford Word of the Year: Rizz

I like this pick. This year has really been about developing unique rizz for different applications, honing in and sharpening the rizz. I like how Oxford is leaning into the absurdity of our linguistic lexicon. Last year the pick was ‘goblin mode’. The year before was… Vax. LOL.

GTA VI Trailer Leaks

The long-awaited trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 just leaked. It looks incredible. I loveedddd playing GTA V as a teen. I don’t play video games anymore because I am an adult who likes to use my time to make money, but in 2025 when this drops I will consider playing it.

NY Mag: 37 Reasons to Love New York

NY Mag dropped their annual reasons to love New York list. I like the one about Wolfgang Tillman’s photo when the city got covered in wildfire smoke. I saw the WT show in Toronto over the Summer and it changed my life.
