Favs of '24

Long time no see.

I went from daily posting to weekly to abruptly stopping, with my last post being over a month ago.

A few of you have sent kind messages asking where I’ve been.

The reality is I’ve been really busy with work, helping to scale a generational company.

Which requires a lot of dedication, focus, early mornings, late nights, and Delta flights.

Before I took this gig I remember talking to

the day after the election and she told me I should keep writing and I want to as well.

I am so appreciative of everyone new who subscribed this year and made this the best year ever.

So in 2025, Who Do You Know? is going to take a new form. Perhaps a weekly column, more interviews, and different content.

But in the meantime, here are my favorite things from 2024—

Our Legacy Polar Coat: I wanted this coat so bad at the end of ‘23 and finally picked it up the beginning of this year. Warmest and coziest jacket I own despite it making me look like that monkey in the meme.
Drake’s Scottish Wool Sweater: Yeah, I’m in my grown man era. We only wear the sweater if the material is 100% pure. No blends on this side.
Ven. Space pants: The best flowy black trousers on the planet, created by the best menswear store in Brooklyn, owned by friend of the newsletter, Chris Green who I interviewed and spoke the the New York Times about.
Oliver People’s glasses: I went into the OP store, asked for the exact same glasses Patrick Bateman wore in American Psycho and now I wear these glasses everyday.
Morjas Loafers: I picked these up in June at the Morjas NYC pop-up and they’ve been my go-to loafer ever since.

This is just some new favorites, I’m still mostly dining at my Keith McNally owned haunts: The Odeon, Minetta Tavern, etc.

Mr. Moto: A 21-course omakase surrounded by Japanese artifacts dating back to the 1800s. Best sushi of the year by far.
Kings Imperial Co: My favorite Chinese spot in Williamsburg.
Hillstone: IDC if its basic this restaurant slaps. NYC Cheesecake Factory vibes.
Court St. Grocer: Best sandwiches near me. God I miss going here.
Raf’s: Get the escargot.

: Erika tapped me for several pieces this year and I adore her writing.

: Always has incredible recommendations.
Emily Sundberg
: the GOAT
Gabrielle Scelzo
: the best restaurant recommendations in NYC.

Eighth Day: Bro this shit is like skincare for the ultra-rich. The regenerative serum is too good.
Freaks of Nature: My favorite sunscreen, I wore it when I ran the perimeter of Manhattan a few months back.
YSL fragrances: My friends at YSL kept me smelling good the entire year.

Thanks to all the incredible guests that came on Who Do You Know? this year.

And the readers who kept me going the entire time.
